Laneige Global Beauty Camp Day 2: Visiting Laneige Flagship Store at Myeongdong & Beauty Class

So you thought my Laneige Global Beauty Camp was over? Not even close! With my awesome Kbeauty made-up face on, it was time for us to head on out and dazzle civilisation with our gorgeousness – we headed over to Myeongdong to visit their Flagship store 😀

Laneige Global Beauty Camp Day 2 Laneige StoreMushing our way through the rain (and melting snow) – nothing will stahp me from beauty shopping!

Laneige Global Beauty Camp Day 2 Laneige Store 2and we haz arrived! 😀 There’s a flagship store for Laneige at Myeongdong, but you can also find it at Aritaum.

(psst! what do you think of this new photo gallery format? I’d love to hear your comments about it – yay or nay? Would you prefer this thumbnail view, or my usual full-sized photo spread?)

Laneige Global Beauty Camp Day 2 Laneige Store 5My turn to try them out too! (one of my favourite lip products to use when I’m in winter wear – the Laneige Water Drop Tint. It is moisturising and gives that juicy lip effect, but doesn’t stain onto my muffler cos it’s a lip tint).

After this, the store just got too crowded to take any nice photos (people and poofy jackets make for a lot more squeezing needed). Of course, my hands were also too busy shopping (I know, I know, I am a hopeless shopaholic). Once we were done, we were herded back to W hotel where our next programme was up – A Sleeping Beauty Secret Class.

Laneige Global Beauty Camp Day 2 ClassOh lookie, Miss Song is waiting for me again – so sorry to keep you waiting hurhurhur.

Laneige Global Beauty Camp Day 2 Class 2Waiting for us on the table are these mysterious white boxes and bottles containing liquids…

Laneige Global Beauty Camp Class 5… there’s a diffuser in there! We’re gonna learn how to make our own scents so that our rooms can be scented with the awesome SleepScent aroma that’s also available in the Water Sleeping Mask (for better sleep).

Laneige Global Beauty Camp Day 2 Class 3Paying close attention to the importance of good sleep, and how aromatherapy can aid in that.

Laneige Global Beauty Camp Class 6Adding the first of two liquids (tbh I have no idea what they were cos they were labelled in Korean with their scientific names, but they eventually emulsified.

Laneige Global Beauty Camp Class 7Adding the last of them liquids – it was like science class all over again, with lower density liquids sinking  😀

Laneige Global Beauty Camp Class 8

And voila! I haz my very own Laneige SleepScent diffuser to bring home! Granted, it wasn’t much making but more of just pouring the liquids in, but heyyyy at least I did it in the right order hurhurhur. Once this was done, I zoomed up to my room to change, cos next up would be the most exciting programme of all – nightlife partehhhhh where I would be meeting Song Jae Rim (and some other Kpop celebs!) YAYYYYYYY (and stay tuned!)

    • Hello! I usually change Korean won either at the good money changers (Chinatown, or those that give relatively okay rates), or else at myeongdong’s small money changers (which give surprisingly better rates than incheon airport). The rates at the airport (both countries) are really bad so don’t change there unless you reallllllly need cash. 🙂
